The Time Travelers have it! Despite all attempts to keep them at bay, not even bad spelling or temporal editing could keep them away. Those canny krononauts appear to have found the poll and captured the win, narrowly beating out Demigods and Fairies. And while I may fear retaliation from the SHIFTERZZZZZ WERE HERE who finished a distant SHIFTERZZZZZ WERE HERE– probably too busSHIFTERZZZZZ WERE HERE a deal is a deal.
Now to get the research right! The good news is, there’s an excellent Time Traveler Convention being held at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). The bad news is, that the convention is being held five years ago, on May 07, 2005 so I’m a little late.
But according to organizer Amal Dorai (speaking below), technically you only need ONE Time Traveler convention, for it to become a sort of Woodstock for people from all times to come and congregate to talk about Time Travel.
Fortunately, it’s FREE – so I should be able to afford it. AND apparently there’s going to be free salsa and chips so I’m bringing a doggy bag. Plus they do give you coordinates for your time machine: 42:21:36.025°N, 71:05:16.332°W. So now all I have to do is locate a reliable time machine… GABRIEL?…. and before you can say DeLorean DMC-12, Graham and I’ll be in a roomful of the most famous time travel researchers in history. I’ve attached a link to the convention invitation (below) in case anyone wants to join us. The more the merrier!
We should be back in time to have the new Monstrometer update ready for Halloween. We’ve already been working hard-ish on it and thought it won’t be the giant update of death we long to produce, it looks like this one will have a couple of new things.
