The Storm Moon rises tonight on three converging cosmic phenomenon: the spring equinox, a supermoon and a solar eclipse, bringing with it the possibility of solar flares, wind storms and other mysterious phenomenon.

In case any SOS readers need reminding of the power in the number 3, in brief consider the following: the trinity, three wishes, three guesses, three day rule of the full moon, three point one four… not to mention the infinitely more common but just as powerful three strikes in baseball. Threes exert a profound pull in our lives.

So as these three cosmic phenomenon converge, I would urge all survivors wherever you are, to observe carefully and look for the threes around you. One of them might be more powerful than you expect.

Full Moon + Total Lunar Eclipse = Lupine Lunacy

Hail Survivors, tonight the Earth, the Moon and the Sun will perfectly align to produce a total lunar eclipse. If you are lucky enough to live in the viewing area and have clear skies you will be treated to a spectacular sight as the Moon moves through the Earth’s shadow. If however you happen to be a werewolf then tonight might be the most stressful night you have had since the Supermoon. As the moon enters the Earth’s shadow its power and influence quickly wane but as it re-emerges its power quickly increases. The rapid fluctualtions in Lunar power tend to play havoc with werewolf physiology and often produce unexpected results.

Werewolves often experience strange and painful symptoms like rapidly transforming from werewolf to human and back, partial transformations or getting stuck in one form until the next full moon among others.

March 19, 2011 – The Supermoon rises! The most anticipated moon since the solstice eclipse. This perigee moon, the closest one in 19 years, following in the wake of dreaded St. Patrick’s Day. The forecast calls for earthquakes (done), tsunamis (done) and volcanoes (done). So what next?

Well maybe the worst news of all. This supermoon rises in the aftermath of St. Patrick’s Day, globally the seasonal peak of leprechaun activity. This year due to the Supermoon, it’s sure to be the worst in recent memory. I’m talking about lepreweres or leprewolves or wereprechauns or… however you say it, hide your gold and get out your four leaf clovers it’s getting hairy at perigee.

There’s a LOT going on around here! I’m still getting caught up after an epic night of pizza delivery to a lot of strangely ravenous short, hairy people. Check it out for yourself. You know what they say, what you don’t know that you don’t know can kill you even before you don’t know you don’t know it!
