Great show! Thanks for getting the truth out.

I have this friend I think may be going zombie. He’s normally unshaven and has long unkempt blond hair. And he talks really slowly, it takes forever for him to finish a story. I’ve never seen him eat brains, but I’ve often seen unidentified bits of stuff on his beard and shirt after his meals. It could be human remains. And I’ve once seen him devour an entire box of HotRods.

Should I Zombie Quarantine him the next time I see him, or is he too far gone?

Survivor Sirius it certainly sounds like your friend may be a zombie but before taking action suggest scanning him with the Monstrometer. He may not be a threat but better safe than sorry. How long has he been like this? If it is over 25 years he is probably okay, a little slow but okay. If so then just humour him by trying to keep paying attention until he gets to the end of his sentence, if he ever does.

Sirius. I to think I’ve seen that great bearded zombie. If it’s the one I’m thinking of it is often accompanied by a Banshee that constantly sneezes and is continuously grazing on local plant life. I’ve even seen them both surrounded by evil little goblin minions that can be easily distracted by throwing them “Rock Band”. Maybe I need to cut down on the cough syrup?

Seth, Will spray Nine work on them to?

      Well Survivor Shannon,

Spray Nine will work on just about anything if applied properly however I think you may be either confused or off your meds. Zombies, Banshees and Goblins don’t hang out together.

I suggest visiting your optometrist and/or going back on your meds.

    Seth,

Thank you for getting the word out. Its a well known fact that zombies are a great menace to society and the truth should be revealed about them. However, something bothers me. In some recent zombie films, the zombies seemed to have some extra abilities, such as amazing strength. Also, the zombies were able to run, not just shuffle aimlessly looking for sweet, sweet brain matter. Is this something I should be worrying about?

Thanks for your observations survivor Marc. IMHO there’s never a really good reason to not worry. Please do go ahead and worry – it’s a human evolutionary advantage after all. That said, with the proliferation of zombie actors, writers, directors the question remains are these accurate representation of zombie phenomenon? Harmless zombie wish-fulfillment fantasy? Or dangerous Hollywood propaganda?

    Dear Seth

Back on my Meds and off the Cough Syrup and WHEW the Banshee and goblins are gone, but I still worry about the Zombies. As an avid gamer I have played multiple games that involve the slaughter or zombies. Are these a good source of Zombie lore and killing strategy? You advocate that decapitation with a sword is great and is used in many games, but the games also use a large selection of guns. I have found that many of the guns are available for purchase but the BFG seems most effective. Do you know where I can get one?

Seth, one last thing. My Coon Hound comes from a long line of hunting dogs. Is there a way to teach her to smell out infected people? Are dogs able to become infected? I’m worried if she does become infected I won’t know, since she already drools a lot and acts kind of dumb already.

    Seth,

Thank you for your insight. I am wondering though, has the zombie phenomenon, or perhaps something like a phenomenon, been limited to North America? Or has it spread outwards, causing perhaps more of a global terror? I am currently overseas and I feel this information would be very useful. Thank you for your time

      Good question Survivor Marc,

ZSE outbreaks have been reported worldwide, virtually on every continent, including Antarctica (an isolated incident). It is important that we monitor all areas for warning signs.

I would like to invite anyone with current, reliable information to write in. Survivor Marc could you report on the situation in your area?

Thanks and keep on keeping on!

      Hey Bro,

Well a room scan is tricky business. It could be that your room itself is a threat but it is more likely that there is something in your room that is a threat. If it is not immediately apparent like say a werewolf bouncing on your bed, then a good strategy may be to try to organize all of the things in your room and see if you can find the cause.

Oh you know I just thought of something. Were you in your room when you scanned it? Just saying…

Well Sasquatches (or bigfoots/bigfeet) are generally more afraid of you than you are of them. It is when they feel threatened that they are dangerous so if they outnumber you they probably feel pretty safe. Best to let them go and not try to take their picture. They don’t like that.

when do you intend to do a piece on werewolves? im interested to see how you intend to survive them. and did you know werewolfism is able to be transferred genetically? anyone with werewolf ancestry has a chance of becoming one altho after you dilute it to 25% or less the chances are very slim. altho with my 1/8 i still exhibit several traits and am picked up as a threat by the iphone app.

    Hi BSG,

Thanks for your posts. You came to the right place.

Generally vampires do not cause cloudy skies but since they DO tend to inhabit areas where the weather is predominantly cloudy, the two factors are closely correlated – as you have noticed.

Sometimes a werewolf friend is the best thing for a vampire due to the whole hot-cold thing you have already noticed!
