March 19, 2011 – The Supermoon rises! The most anticipated moon since the solstice eclipse.ย This perigee moon, the closest one in 19 years, following in the wake of dreaded St. Patrick’s Day. The forecast calls for earthquakes (done), tsunamis (done) and volcanoes (done). So what next?
Well maybe the worst news of all. This supermoon rises in the aftermath of St. Patrick’s Day, globally the seasonal peak of leprechaun activity. This year due to the Supermoon, it’s sure to be the worst in recent memory. I’m talking about lepreweres or leprewolves or wereprechauns or… however you say it, hide your gold and get out your four leaf clovers it’s getting hairy at perigee.
There’s a LOT going on around here! I’m still getting caught up after an epic night of pizza delivery to a lot of strangely ravenous short, hairy people. Check it out for yourself. You know what they say, what you don’t know that you don’t know can kill you even before you don’t know you don’t know it!

I don’t want to alarm you – much – here Helpingfella because you seem like a super grandson but have you considered that both of your grandparents may be lepreweres or wereprechauns? In which case the only thing you have to fear in the next forty-eight hours is that your grandparents take advantage of the short trip to take you on an extended tour of the moon.
Okay seriously. You say they aren’t leprechauns or wereprechauns. Let’s just go with that… but first, ask yourself this… how tall are they? Do they like the color green? Do they seem transfixed by the site of gold? Do they keep their money in a jar…

Okay so let’s pretend – er assume – that your grandparents are not leprechauns or wereprechauns. Then you are right to be worried about them. Leprechauns get very jealous of people born in and around St. Patrick’s Day. The think it steals their mojo to celebrate something so unleprechauny. So, if your birthday falls on St. Patrick’s Day here are some things you need to remember:
1. Remove all gold jewelry and store it in a safe place!
2. If you have gold fillings and you can’t get yourself to the dentist in time, then cover them with gum, preferably white gum. (Oh and watch out for sharks. I hear they’re murder on the gold fangs.)
3. Stash as many four leaf clovers as you can in your pants pockets. Survivors on the site swear by this. I wish I had known 18 months ago but my four-leaf clover seeds are still in the mail.
4. Re: the wearing of green. For years I had heard that you wear green on this day, that this causes leprechauns to believe you are one of them and therefore to leave you alone. HOWEVER, more recent research seems to indicate this may in fact attract them to you! Is there any updated research on this from survivors? Did anyone find that wearing green today kept them safe? Or did it attract unwanted attention from leprechauns?

Thanks for keeping on today. Being short, freckled and Irish may or may not be protective today in the same way that wearing or not wearing green may or may not help. The reason is this – if you are NOT in fact a leprechaun…which I am a BIT suspicious at this point you don’t have some leprechaun blood in you from way back. Theoretically this would make you a leprewitch… but if you are NOT a leprechaun do this leprechauny characteristics attract leprechauns to you? Or cause them to leave you be?

1: (if you want your family to be ok and safe and your ok and safe)
First, you must convince your family to lock you in the bathroom, basement, and more, atleast for anywere were that you can not eat your family and other ww’s that might try to attack. now you might need a friend/best friend to lock you in a room or so.
2: (Now if you want your family dead) “Not good idea” you can transform in front of them.
3: Well now do they know your a ww? you should tell them so they can be safe but make sure you tell them if not, bad things well happen my friend.

While it is true that some werewolves don’t survive their first transformation most do. Knowing that you might transform is half the battle. Many werewolves who do not survive are actually killed as a result of the intervention of a third party (generally of the angry villager with a pitchfork variety) so if you know that you are going to potentially transform then you can make an effort to put yourself in a situation where you are much less likely to raise the ire of the locals.

Sorry to be so slow on the reply. As you can see things are a bit crazy here on the site.
The supermoon was followed up by a bunch of werewolves going missing and while most have been found many were very seriously injured with silver weapons. No one yet knows for sure who attacked them or why but current suspects include A51, Skull Keep and the Shadows. Ok well that really does seem like a pretty big problem. Does your hat cover your ears effectively? Can you wear baggy pants or maybe a skirt or a kilt to hide your tail?
I hope that your aunt does not buy you ice cream or something else that makes you happy and makes your tail wag cause that would give up the game. So maybe if that happens then think sad thoughts or something.
I suspect that you may either fully transform tonight with the super moon or hopefully you will switch back to fully human tomorrow morning but better be prepared just in case you don’t. You might have to pretend that you are sick and stay in bed all day if it gets worse but then I guess the hat might be hard to explain.
In any case please keep us posted as the night progresses and let us know how the shopping trip works out.

Last night hubby & I went up in the Hollywood Hills to view Supermoon and we kept hearing Loupe-Garou howling all over, and then hubby started answering them back!!! Should I be worried about this?
