seth I was wondering, what kind of fire-arms would be best for shooting a zombie?

Thanks for the excellent question.
Well often when one is faced with the prospect of shooting a zombie the best firearm is the firearm that you have, whatever that is. Well that is unless it is a shot gun. Those are generally only effective against zombies at a range that makes most people quite nervous when faced with a zombie that is practically at arms length. So when given a choice opt for anything but a shot gun.
When given a choice between a rifle and a pistol consider the application. For targets at a distance rifles are the best due to their accuracy but against targets that are too close a rifle’s length can make it unwieldily.
Pistols on the other hand are very easy to use at short range but the short barrel length makes them substantially less accurate over distance.
So as you can see you are best to have a selection of weapons available to cover any situation but if you can’t have your choice then certainly make do with whatever is available.
Oh it is also good to make sure you have some ammunition that works with your firearm. A very key point really. Don’t forget that.
